The tweaker craves more Methamphetamine, but no dosage of meth will help recreate that first rush. This may cause frustration and leads to unpredictable behavior and violence. To support their drug habits, tweakers often get involved in spur-of-the-moment crimes, such as purse snatching or burglaries.
Methamphetamine users may have split or deteriorating teeth that must be removed. This is frequently caused by a combination of xerostomia (dry mouth), prolonged periods of poor oral hygiene, regular consumption of high calorie, carbonated drinks and tooth grinding and clenching. Some studies have also speculated that the acidic type of the drug is a contributive factor.
