Methamphetamine is available in crystallized form in Hawaii although it has been identified as the most crucial drug threat in the state. This drug can be taken through injection or by means of smoking or inhaling. But in Hawaii people mostly take this by smoking. The cylindrical gas pipes with a bulb shaped end are generally used to smoke methamphetamine. The drug is placed at the end of the bulb to heat it with a lighter. It forms a vapor which is inhaled by the user. A residue remains in the bulb which can be reheated once again. Commonly the regular methamphetamine users can be identified with several symptoms. Depression, insomnia, anxiety, seizures are identified as regular manifestations. There are several programs conducted by the government of Hawaii which aim at making people aware of responsible use of methamphetamine. It is assumed that proper meth treatment programs and facilities for meth addiction in Hawaii can reduce the increasing rate of methamphetamine abuse and related issues.
