It was developed in year 1919 by a Japanese scientist and was used at the time of World War II to assist soldiers to stay awake longer and to be more energized. It is legally used as a prescribed drug for treating obesity and attention deficit disorder.

This is a powder which is mixed with water to be injected or sometimes even sprinkled on tobacco when one takes a smoke.
