Although both these drugs are used medically still long term use can lead to serious addictions. Methamphetamine is mostly termed as meth, chalk, crystal, speed, ice and glass. This drug has certain benefits as well as strong negativities. Methamphetamine enhances your level of physical activity making you very energetic and keeps you awake for longer. However, people taking this drug continuously show a less drive for food.

Methamphetamine can cause certain changes in your behavior when taken for a long term. A chronic use of this drug can create some kind of psychotic behavior patterns or even hallucinations. You also develop the risks to get stroke if you use methamphetamine for long. Methamphetamine also affects our respiratory system, euphoria and hyperthermia. It affects our central nervous system. The most common side effects are insomnia, convulsions, paranoia, tremors, anxiety and aggressiveness. Death can also occur due to hyperthermia and convulsions.

Methamphetamine is highly addictive in nature and people often fall for it. This drug causes harm when injected or smoked or snorted. The level of neurotransmitter dopamine that stimulates the cells on our brain gets enhanced. Hence, it directly affects the person’s mood and character and body movements.
