The problem of abuse of meth and violence and criminal activities cause due to meth abuse has become a thing of concern for the state government. Missouri has high rates of criminal and violent activities occurring every now and then due to meth addiction rate to be at a higher level than several other neighborhood places of United States. While moving to a new neighborhood one has to take care of many things. The rate of addiction, crime rate, offenders of sex, theft etc in the locality has to be taken into account. Missouri has various meth labs located in every hidden corner of the city. The police and State law prohibits the addiction for meth. Existence of a meth lab is not only restricted to a cracked house.
Meth addicts can do almost anything to keep their supply ready. Strong cravings make them over dependent on this drug. They tend to become incapable to take any right decision. Meth takes over and dominates. A meth addict is someone you must watch out always. It is advisable not to get involved with a meth addict under any scenario. They tend to be very violent and impulsive and aggressive. They attack people for money. Burglary, theft is common activities happening in Missouri. Although the police try to keep a check they are not totally successful in removing meth from the society.
The sheriff has listed places in Missouri where there are chances of a meth lab. The occasional raids are effective in removing every signs of a lab. Various physical damages are created by prolonged use of methamphetamine. The bad things of amphetamines and methamphetamines are that they create many cardiovascular diseases. These are rapid and irregular rhythm of heart beat, stroke, increased blood pressure, damage to blood vessels located in our brain, hyperthermia, and convulsions. All these can be fatal causing even death. Chronic nature of meth often causes inflammation of the lining of the heart, damages blood vessels, and creates skin problems.
The meth users become tweakers after not sleeping for weeks due to the side effects of the drug. This causes a display of violent behavior, irritation, aggitative state of mind and aggressiveness. Often in confusion and anxiety they commit violent and criminal acts. For keeping the supply ready they commit crimes like burglary, stealing wallets etc. Meth users get detached and get unaccepted by the people and the society. The psychological effects seem to be present even after many years of stopping meth intake. 
Another probable risk for meth consumers is acute kind of lead poisoning. Manufacture of meth is done illegally in all places and lead acetate is used a s a reagent. When certain errors occur in the procedure of manufacture, the lead gets contaminated often causing acute poisoning. Various cases have been heard where lead poisoning has happened to users using meth intravenously.

The connection between abuse of methamphetamine and criminal activities are well understood by the people. People having addiction to amphetamines often commit chilling kidnappings, assaults and murders, brutal slayings to the police. The drug is a strong stimulant affecting the human central nervous system when injected, snorted or smoked. This highly addictive drug causes serious addiction when used for prolonged time span. The user cannot quit once he starts getting habituated with the killer drug’s euphoric reactions. Hence, to get their supplies they often commit crimes. However, due to loss of judgment in their brains caused due to the side effects of meth, their crimes are usually baseless and draw attention.
In the heat of the moment and confused delusions, meth users often commit crimes. There are also cases of cold blooded murders committed by addicts. In the year 1995, in Chula Vista a 3 ½ years old baby girl Genny Rojas was being nursed by Veronica Gonzales and her husband. Genny’s father was imprisoned and her mother was in a rehab for counseling treatment for meth. Genny’s aunt and uncle were methamphetamine addicts and were not suitable to nurse their niece. They tortured the baby girl for months and murdered her brutally in the bathtub. This married couple was sent to death row in California.
There are lots of such real life crime events that have been seen as the result of meth addiction. The world crime events have also seen the kidnapping of Amanda Gaeke in 1991 by David Allan Webb of 16 years age at North Park. He drugged the girl for 36 hours and tortured her and raped her. He tied her when he went to school. The girl was later murdered and her body was hidden in a canyon. During 1997 he was arrested and pleaded guilty. The most significant role played in such crimes in the drug effects of meth consumption.
